HOW THE PLAN WORKS

POINTS may be used at any of the dining facilities, as well as at the Big Tree Inn.  (Points can only be used at the Big Tree Inn Tuesdays through Thursdays, and may not be used to purchase alcoholic beverages.)

FLEX CREDITS may be used at any of the dining facilities as well as vending.

CAMPUS CASH is a separate account that must be opened separately.  More information on the Campus CASh Account can be found here.

SUNY I.D. CARDS...the magnetically encoded SUNY I.D. card is your meal card as well as your official form of campus identification.  This card is non-transferable and must be kept in your possession at all times. Cards used by unauthorized persons will be confiscated. Report your card lost or stolen to the CAS Business Office or dining facility immediately. Once your lost or stolen I.D. card is reported to CAS, it will be deactivated. You may obtain a new SUNY I.D. card from the CAS Business Office. Protect your SUNY I.D. as there will be a replacement fee for lost, stolen or damaged cards.

VALUE MEALS...Red Jacket and Letchworth value centers offer all-you-care-to-eat value meals seven days a week for lunch and dinner.  Food may not be taken out of these centers.

UNUSED POINTS and flex credit at the end of each semester cannot be refunded or carried over to the next semester.

MEAL PLAN ADDITIONS...points or flex credit can be added to meal plans at any time during the semester in increments of $25.00 or more at the CAS Business Office located in Blake A, Room 108 or the SUNY Geneseo Federal Credit Union located in MacVittie College Union, Room 111.

MEAL PLAN REFUNDS...because your meal plan is tax exempt, NY State tax law requires that meal plans are non-refundable. Partial refunds are allowed only when a student officially withdraws from school. The Student Accounts office generates the refund.
